Toy Hire
Hire charges are required to be paid before hire commences.

Hiring commences and terminates at the times shown the Order Confirmation provided to you on this web site. (Unless these details are confirmed otherwise in writing to you by Toy Hire Company promptly on receipt of your order.)

A cash bond will be required on some toys & orders over $80. This will be added to the rental charge on pick up.

Cancellations must be made 3 days prior to hire start date or 50% hire fee is payable. All refunds are paid by cheque from head office.

On return of equipment in good condition and clean, the bond money will be refunded to the Hirer.

The Hirer will ensure that children using the equipment are properly supervised at all times by their parents or caregiver to ensure that all children are not injured while using the equipment, and will indemnify the owner accordingly.

The Hirer must notify the owner immediately if any equipment is lost or damaged. The Hirer will take care of the equipment and will be solely responsible for the loss or damage of equipment.

All toys must be returned clean. Overdue toys or toys returned dirty will incur an additional charge.

The Hirer is responsible for checking their equipment upon acceptance at the time of pickup.

The Owner cannot accept responsibility for shortages or claims after the hirer takes possession.

The equipment will at all times remain the property of the Toy Hire Company.
Deposits are required on all bookings over $30.00 the amount will be 20% of the total hire due and is non refundable.

Any cost incurred by the Toy Hire Co in respect of the collection of an overdue account will be payable by the Hirer. This includes debt collection costs and penalty interest at 24% per annum.

Delivery is available for toy hire in the greater Auckland area. A delivery charge will apply. Contact us for more information.

For all orders received on this web site confirmation of availability plus any applicable bond, deposit or delivery charges will be provided by email / telephone promptly on receipt of the order.

If the Hirer is in breach of any of the terms of this agreement the Owner may terminate the hire and/or repossess any of the equipment without prior notice to the Hirer.

Gold and Silver Smart Start and Bronze Membership
Membership can be applied for either online on the website or in any of the Toy Hire stores.

New Gold Smart Start Club members can make payment arrangements to pay the annual or 6 monthly toy hire pre-payment either online on the website by credit card or telephone credit , or in store by cash or EFTPOS when you collect hire toys from your nearest Toy Hire branch.

Silver Smart Start Club Members will be asked to complete an automatic payment bank authority form for monthly pre-payment of toy hire when you collect your toys from your nearest Toy Hire store.

Bronze members must pay each time you hire toys, either on-line by credit card, telephone credit card details, or on pick up by cash, credit card or eftpos.

Gold & Silver members whos hire exceeds any advance payments received will be required to pay the difference.

Membership is annual or 6 monthly depending upon the option selected, where members agree to pay for toy hire in advance. Payment can be made annually or 6 monthly in advance for Gold membership, or monthly in advance for Silver membership. Membership commences on receipt of the first payment and renewing annually or 6 monthly thereafter provided payment is received.

Members who are not completely satisfied with our service and want to withdraw from the Gold or Silver Smart Start Membership programs will receive a refund on any money not spent on hire that we hold in credit for you. Membership may be cancelled by the member at any time by notifying us in writing to Toy Hire Company PO Box 259 049, or by email to headoffice@toyhire.co.nz. Any refunds for Gold Smart Start, Silver Smart or Bronze membership will be paid by cheque and mailed by post from Toy Hire Head Office in East Tamaki , Auckland.

Toy Purchase
Delivery is available. A delivery charge will apply. Contact us for more information.

Returns
Should any goods reach you in a damaged condition please return them to us within 14 days and we will replace or refund your purchase price. Please advise us if you are returning goods as they are the responsibility of the customer until they reach us and we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit.

Privacy
Toy Hire Company collects and retains information regarding visitors to our web site and our goods purchased for the following purposes:

* Advising members of new products services and special offers
* To statistically analyse site usage and products purchased
* To improve content and product offering on the site
*To improve customer ease and satisfaction.

Personal information collected for the above purposes will be retained by Toy Hire Company in its database. You have the right under the Privacy Act 1993 to access any personal information held about you and to correct or delete such information from the Toy Hire Company database.
